Affiliate Disclosure
Last updated: October 2026 · Chlorova (www.chlorova.com/)
Some links on https://www.chlorova.com are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, we may earn a commission from the retailer at no additional cost to you. This disclosure explains the arrangement in full, as required by the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's Endorsement Guides (16 CFR Part 255) and the principles behind it worldwide.
Which programs we participate in
We participate in the Amazon Associates Program and, from time to time, affiliate programs of other gardening and outdoor retailers. As an Amazon Associate, Chlorova earns from qualifying purchases made through our Amazon links.
Commissions never influence our picks
- Recommendation lists are built first — from published specifications, independent professional tests, extension-service research and owner feedback — and affiliate links are added afterwards.
- Each guide states plainly how its ranking was produced, including what we have and have not tested ourselves. Where we have not used a product, we do not claim that we have.
- If a better product exists and pays us nothing, it still ranks above a worse one that pays.
- We do not accept payment for placement in rankings, and any sponsored collaboration would be labelled clearly on the page itself.
How you can tell
Every guide that contains affiliate links carries a short disclosure note near the top of the page, and product buy-links route through retailer domains you can see before you commit. You are free to search the product yourself and buy it without using our link — our opinion of the product stays the same either way.
Why we do it
Commissions are what keep every calculator on Chlorova free, fast and ad-wall-free. They never create a paywall, a signup requirement or a difference in what you see.
Questions
If you ever spot a recommendation that looks bought rather than earned, tell us at hello@chlorova.com — we take that accusation seriously and audit on request.
